Tracking starts with a distinction between where someone came from and where they went next. HerPromo records outgoing activity through your profile links. That gives you evidence about destination choices, but the original social source may be unavailable. A useful review combines the report with a record of your publishing work and its limits.
Define the action before reviewing the report
An outgoing click means a visitor followed a profile link after confirming they are an adult. It does not mean the visitor subscribed, paid or became a unique new fan. Repeated taps can create separate records. Use a precise description when sharing results with a creator or a team so expectations remain realistic.
Give each profile button a recognizable label and verify the address. If the destination is wrong, the activity will still describe visits to that wrong destination. Review your page before publishing a campaign, then keep the button order and labels stable long enough to interpret the next set of observations.
Treat referrers as partial evidence
Pro includes full platform and referrer statistics. A referrer is the referring website a browser supplies when the outgoing request is made. Some apps and browser settings omit it. In other cases it identifies the HerPromo page instead of the social app that introduced the visitor. An empty source is not a campaign verdict.
Do not rename unknown activity as Instagram, TikTok or Reddit traffic because those channels were active that day. Keep unknown information unknown. If you also review a social platform's own link reporting, preserve the difference between that observation and HerPromo outgoing clicks. The reports can describe different stages of the same journey.
Keep a placement record
For each campaign, record the channel, placement, publishing date, approved message and intended destination. Note any profile edits or account notices that might affect the visitor path. This record adds context without pretending that every later click can be attributed to a particular post. Promotion support includes planning campaigns around tracked links.
Direct adult platform links and indirect pages can both face social restrictions. A quiet campaign may reflect limited distribution, poor audience fit or unclear wording. Review the placement rules and visitor experience before changing the page. Avoid interpreting a missing referrer as proof that a permitted community or social channel has no value.
Choose a practical next change
Try a clearer label, a different first button or a closer match between the post and its destination. Record the change and review the same kind of evidence afterward. Compare subscriptions separately using the destination platform's own information. The purpose is to improve decisions without turning a click count into a claim about revenue.
